How the waitlist works
Tell us what you need
Complete a housing request and check "Please consider my housing request for suitable future BookingKY properties." Include your desired location, move-in timeframe, budget, occupants, home size, parking, amenities, furnishing needs, expected lease length and anything special.
We match new homes to requests
When a home is added or becomes available, we look for requests whose objective needs, like location, dates, budget, size and parking, fit that home. A person on our management team reviews every match before anyone is contacted.
We reach out if there's a fit
If your request is selected to proceed, we'll contact you about a viewing. From there, the normal leasing process applies.
Good to know
- The waitlist stays open even when both of our current homes are occupied.
- Joining doesn't guarantee housing, priority or future availability.
- Requests are reviewed using the same criteria for everyone.
- Need to update your preferences? Email us and we'll update your request.
- To withdraw, email hello@bookingky.com with "Withdraw my housing request". We'll remove you from the waitlist.
- We don't keep waitlist requests forever. Our proposed retention period is 12 months, after which we'll delete the request or ask whether you'd like to stay on. (This policy is pending final review.)
